Parents and Guardians Facebook Group
Join adults affiliated with Portland State University through their student's enrollment. Ask questions, share answers and be a helpful resource and community in the Parents and Guardians Facebook group.
Prospective Parent and Family Portal
Our Parent and Family Portal is the new way to stay up-to-date with Portland State University. With the ability to choose how often you hear from us, the Parent and Family Portal is your one-stop shop for:
- Access to important news and deadlines
- Newsletters curated to your interests
- Announcements via email
- Sharing updates with friends and family
Parents and family of prospective students will likely receive an email from PSU with sign up information, families can also access the Portland State Family Hub and enter their email address to join. Answer a few questions, and a wealth of information will be available at your fingertips.

Beyond the classroom
University Housing and Residence Life at Portland State University is comprised of nine residence halls. Our urban campus houses students from different backgrounds and cultures. We provide housing options for first year, transfer, graduate, international, and non-traditional PSU students.
Portland State University Campus Public Safety is committed to the mission of the University by providing professional and courteous law enforcement services to create a safe and healthy environment for learning, teaching, and research.
Campus Rec provides an inclusive environment where recreation and wellness opportunities inspire, empower and educate people to be positive contributors to the global community.
Our mission is to make dining on campus a complementary experience to attending classes at Portland State University. Our dining options offer both value and convenience, and provide students a clear path to success and a fulfilling PSU experience.
There are enough options for getting to and from PSU for you to choose a mode that suits you. We want to help make your commute to campus as easy as possible by helping you figure out the most convenient and cost effective way for you to get to campus.
Our athletics program is dedicated to cultivating a safe and inclusive environment that fosters the academic and personal success of our student athletes. It is our goal to support our student athletes in being well-rounded individuals who are contributing members of their communities.
